Food for Love Team

Bex Sarginson

Operations Manager

Bex co-founded Food For Love in 2016 and has always held a strong passion for helping others in her community. Together with a growing group of volunteers, they are able to ensure that nobody in the Upper Clutha region goes without nourishment in their time of need. Bex holds strong morals of compassion, understanding, communication and dedication to her role within the charity and is always striving to make a difference in people’s lives. Bex knows pride can get in the way of people being open to accepting help and, for her, seeing how a beautiful home cooked meal can change the lives of those feeling alone and vulnerable, is the ultimate reward. Bringing together a community team of supporters to support those in need is one of her biggest achievements to date.

Mighty Efficient has been the area’s number one booking service for a number of years, just ask a local. This is due to Bronwyn’s work ethic and ability to relate with everyday Kiwis involved in business, just like she is. She is the Otago Regional Director for the Institute of Certified New Zealand Bookkeepers. Bronwyn is also involved in her husband’s hunting and tourism business, Lake Hawea Hunting Safaris. She assists various local non profit organizations free of charge and is Mum to four amazing girls.

She believes strongly in the Food For Love mission and has two teenagers who also enjoy helping out with meals for the community.
