Christmas Cook

Each year Food for Love makes a commitment to find people in the Upper Clutha community who are on their own for the Christmas holiday.

The community is very supportive when we ask for donations of meat, vegetables, and baked goods that can be lovingly prepared and delivered to our friends in the community.

This year we prepared, cooked packaged and delivered 200 meals.

This charity caters to lighten the load for families who are grieving, who have lost jobs, are unwell - physically and mentally - and even for those who have accidents and cannot return to their homes. I hope for Food for Love to continue the work they do, in not only feeding folk, but helping to keep their spirits up, during times that are not anticipated.
