Hirepool Trilogy Golf Tournament

Food For Love has been selected as the official charity partner for the highly anticipated Hirepool Charity Trilogy Golf Tournament, to be held at the Wanaka Golf Club from March 15 to March 17, 2024. This well loved golf event will bring together golf enthusiasts and philanthropists alike to support Food For Love.

Food For Love is a community-driven charity that is dedicated to providing support to individuals and families during an unexpected time of need. Whether someone has fallen ill, is undergoing cancer treatment, is grieving the loss of a loved one, struggling with their mental health or is experiencing sleepless nights with a newborn, Food For Love provides a sense of comfort by delivering a free nutritious meal to their doorstep.

The Wanaka Golf Club Manager, Kim Badger, expressed their excitement about this new partnership saying, “The Wanaka Golf Club is delighted to partner with Food For Love for the 2024 Hirepool Charity Trilogy. Our visions align, and we envisage that the support Food For Love offers may extend to some of our golfing community if they may face the challenges of illness or bereavement. We look forward to working together.”

Food For Love is equally enthusiastic about the collaboration. “We are honored to have been chosen as the designated charity for this incredible event,” said Jodie Stuart, General Manager at Food For Love. “The support we receive from this tournament will go a long way in helping us fulfill our mission of providing delicious home cooked meals to anyone who is going through a difficult time in the Upper Clutha region. We are grateful for this opportunity and look forward to a successful event.”

The 2024 Hirepool Charity Trilogy Golf Tournament promises to be a day filled with golf, camaraderie, and philanthropy. In addition to an exciting day on the golf course, attendees can look forward to live charity auctions, silent auctions, raffles, and other fun activities aimed at raising funds for this worthy cause.

About Wanaka Golf Club:

Wanaka Golf Club offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for golfers of all skill levels. With a commitment to fostering a sense of community and a passion for the sport, the Wanaka Golf Club is honored to be the host venue for the 2024 Hirepool Charity Trilogy Golf Tournament. 

The tournament is being held 15-17 March 2024. Invitation to previous year teams will be emailed December 2023. The cut off to enter is 16th Feb 2024.
