Coming Up at Food For Love…

At Food For Love we have lots of great fundraisers happening all of the time. Below is a summary of what is currently on. If you are interested in helping out as a volunteer, sponsorship opportunities or making a donation of any sort please contact us today!

Bake Sale

The Food For Love annual bake sale is coming up on Saturday December 9. There are several ways people can help.

Volunteer to bake and help with preparations in the lead up to the bake sale
Donate goods or services towards our raffle
Volunteer to do a shift manning the stall at the bake sale

Christmas Cook

The Food For Love Christmas Cook campaign is a heart-felt campaign that ensures that those facing tough times or isolation receive a home-cooked Christmas meal on Christmas Day. There are several ways people can help:

Nominate friends, family, colleagues or neighbors who are going to be alone or are going through a challenging time this Christmas. Nominations open December 1st.
Businesses and individuals can donate goodies or funds towards the Christmas Cook campaign.
People can volunteer their time to help us prepare the meals, write Christmas cards and/or deliver on Christmas Day.

This charity caters to lighten the load for families who are grieving, who have lost jobs, are unwell - physically and mentally - and even for those who have accidents and cannot return to their homes. I hope for Food for Love to continue the work they do, in not only feeding folk, but helping to keep their spirits up, during times that are not anticipated.
